Sprout Early Education & Discipleship Foundation (SEED)

Our mission

Founded in 2024, Sprout Early Education & Discipleship Foundation (SEED) is an approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing Christian early childhood education for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years in Ascension Parish.

SEED provides financial support and training to organizations that serve children, recognizing that early experiences shape lifelong learning, behavior, and health. Through fundraising, the Foundation supports faith-based curriculum development, educational programs for children, and professional training for early childhood educators.

Rooted in a Christian worldview, SEED helps build strong foundations that nurture children’s faith, character, and skills, preparing them to grow into confident, compassionate adults.

Jeremy Jones

Founding Member

Jeremy Jones is a father of two and a finance and accounting professional with 25 years of experience in education. His work supporting schools and nonprofit organizations includes financial management, budgeting, and organizational leadership, reflecting his commitment to building strong foundations for the communities they serve.

As a member of the Sprout Foundation Board, Jeremy brings a thoughtful, practical approach to financial stewardship. He looks forward to advancing the Foundation’s mission and helping create lasting opportunities for children, families, and educators.

Cheree Franklin

Founding Member

Cheree Franklin is a follower of Christ, wife, mother of two, and dedicated educator with 23 years of experience. Her background in teaching, leadership, and collaboration fuels her passion for nurturing children, supporting parents, and helping teachers grow.

Honored to serve on the Sprout Foundation Board, Cheree looks forward to partnering with families and serving her community by helping children learn, grow, and thrive.

Brooke Guillory

Founding Member

Brooke Guillory is a wife, mom of two, local REALTOR® with EXIT Realty Group, youth softball coach, and proud Ascension Parish native. Brooke has never been one to sit on the sidelines—she believes in showing up, getting involved, and making things happen. She is passionate about people, her community, and creating opportunities for others to succeed.

Whether she’s serving her clients, coaching young athletes, or giving back, Brooke brings energy, leadership, and heart into everything she does. She is proud to serve on the Sprout Foundation Board and looks forward to using that same passion, drive, and love for her community to further the Foundation’s mission and make a lasting impact on the children, families, and educators it serves.

Madison Berthelot

Founding Member

Madison Berthelot is a wife, mother of two boys, and dedicated professional with a background in management and the medical field. Her experience in leadership, human resources, and team development fuels her passion for supporting people and strengthening organizations. She values clear communication, teamwork, and helping others thrive.

Honored to serve on the Sprout Foundation Board, Madison looks forward to using her experience and heart for service to advance the Foundation’s mission and support children and families in her community.

Kelsie Gautreau

Founding Member

Kelsie Gautreau is a mother of three, registered nurse, and dedicated community advocate. Her nursing career and community involvement reflect her commitment to caring for others and supporting families. She brings compassion, professionalism, and a heart for service to everything she does.
